Sachsenhausen was a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. It was built June 12, 1936 in Oranienburg, 35 kilometers north of Berlin
33,000 prisoners, including women and children, were set to march to the northwest.
Without food and in icy weather marched column 20 to 40 kilometers a day and spent the night in the open. SS shot them, were lagging aft.
